Community Meeting Agendas

Development Review Community Meetings are held:
Days: Monday evenings as needed (meetings are generally held on the first and/or third Monday of the month, but may be held on other Monday evenings as needed and may not be held every first and/or third Monday)
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Location: City Hall Annex, Room 102, located at 301 E. Olive Avenue

Community meetings are required for all development projects that go through the Development Review process.  Development Review is generally required for all new buildings and many additions to existing buildings, and is required for buildings in both multiple family residential and non-residential zones.

The purpose of the community meetings is to provide information to the public about a proposed project and to receive comments from persons who would potentially be affected by the project.  Most Development Review applications are approved administratively by the Community Development Director and do not go before the Planning Board unless an appeal is filed.  The community meetings provide an opportunity for Burbank residents to become involved in the project review process and to share their concerns directly with City staff prior to action being taken on a Development Review application.

All public notices that are mailed to property owners and tenants in proximity to development projects include the date, time, and location of the community meeting for the project.
