Environmental Review Documents

Before any project may be considered for approval by the City of Burbank, the potential environmental impacts of the project must be considered as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).  The purpose of CEQA and the environmental review process that it mandates are to disclose to the public and elected and appointed officials any environmental impacts that a project might have, such as traffic, air pollution, and noise.

Smaller projects meeting certain criteria are exempted from environmental review under CEQA.  For those projects that are not exempt, environmental documentation is prepared to document the potential impacts of the project.  The public is encouraged to review environmental documents and provide written comments on any concerns about a project and its potential impacts.

There are no environmental review documents posted at this time.
