City Centre Redevelopment Project Area

This area is comprised of approximately 212 acres in the City's downtown area. This project area has been the focus of major redevelopment activity which currently includes the development of a couple of mixed-use retail/housing projects and infrastructure improvements.  Completed Projects include mixed-use developments, additional restaurants, and retail.

  • Last amended in 2006
  • Incurrence of debt - 2004
  • Debt repayment & receipt of tax increment - 2024
  • Approximately 212 acres
  • Land composition - Primarily commercial with some residential
  • Effectiveness of the plan - 2014

City Centre Recent Achievements:

  • Burbank Entertainment Village - Mixed-use project that includes a 16-screen movie theater, retail and restaurant space.
  • Burbank Village Walk - 140 for sale residential units with 14,000 sq. ft. of ground floor restaurant/retail space.
  • Burbank Civic Plaza - A 71,000 sq. ft. office project that includes 12,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail/restaurant space.
