West Olive Redevelopment Project Area

The focus of this area has been to implement the Media District Specific Plan (MDSP), which established the framework for new development and the infrastructure to support it. The media industry continues to be the driving force in this area and the source of new development. The Agency’s efforts are found in transportation and related public improvements to help protect the quality of life for neighboring residential areas. Future Agency involvement will focus on infrastructure improvements.

West Olive Recent Achievements:

  • The Pinnacle Phases I & II - Both sites include 585,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space with Warner Music, NBC, and Clear Channel Communications, Inc. as tenants.
  • The Pointe is a new 14 story, 485,000 square foot Class “A” office tower  located at 2800-3000 West Alameda Avenue (developed by M. David Paul).  The site is located at Alameda Avenue and Bob Hope Drive.  The building is designed for the media industry, with planned amenities that include sound stages, production office space, warehouse space, a health club, a premier restaurant and secured subterranean parking.  The Pointe is a LEED registered building. 
  • Several Public infrastructure improvements.
