2007 Bike Station Survey

Survey Purpose

The City of Burbank would like to obtain information regarding current bicycle commuters as part of the planning process for a new bike-transit center at the Downtown Metrolink Station. The information obtained will help estimate the need for bicycle storage and other facilities/amenities to be included.

What is a bike-transit center?

A bike-transit center is a facility that provides secure bike parking in combination with a range of other amenities/facilities to accommodate cyclist at a central location. Services range from bicycle lockers to full-service bike parking and bicycle repairs, retail sales, rentals, café, personal lockers, and restrooms/ changing rooms, among other amenities. There are several bike-transit centers in California, most notably, the Long Beach Bike Station.

This short questionnaire will help us develop a bike station plan that will be a useful resource for Burbank's bicycle commuter community. Thank you for your help in making Burbank a better community for bicycling!
